The Entrepreneurship Cell, Motilal Nehru College is a non-profit students' organization that was initiated in November, 2017 under the umbrella of PM Yuva Scheme. PM Yuva scheme is a centrally sponsored scheme on entrepreneurship education and training being implemented by the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Government of India. Under this scheme, entrepreneurship classes are conducted for all the students registered under the E-cell.

E-cell conducts a myriad of activities throughout the year. Since the inception of E-Cell MLNC, has organized numerous seminars, workshops and guest lectures to create awareness about entrepreneurship. It acts as a guide for students with creative ideas and budding enterprises.

In the 2018-19 session, to promote entrepreneurship on the college campus, the E-cell started two in-campus business ventures operated fully by its members.

About the projects:

1. The Printing Bus - Under this project, E-cell MLNC offers an amazing product line which includes bookmarks, posters, diaries, badges and more products coming up every month. The Printing Bus started off by targeting society's fests and put up stalls to increase their reach and ensure their growth. They had major successes in fests like Tarang LSR, Diwali Mela (Hansraj College) and Aagaaz DRC.

2. Resume-ing - Under this project, E-Cell MLNC offers a service of building up a professional RESUME for college students which is an essential first step to excel in the interviews. A form is filled in by the respondent giving their details and then the team would work to make the best out of it!! The project is still in its ideation stage and the cell believes to initiate the activities in August 2019.
