Scholarships
1.

The Governing body scholarship for 6 students are granted on the basis of excellence in the University Examinations.

2.

A merit award will be given to a student of B.Com (Hons.) 1st year who scores atleast 60% marks in the aggregate in main paper and first position in the College and has passed all the subsidiary papers at the Annual examination to be held in April, 2007. Other details of the award will be put up on the notice board after the re-opening of the College for the session 2007-2008.

College Magazine

The College Magazine "Navagat" publishes reviews of educational, cultural, social and sports activities of the College and articles by the students and staff. The magazine is edited by an Editorial Board.

Students' Union

Students' Union is the premier student body in the college. Its membership is compulsory for all students of the college. Its aims are to cultivate the quality of leadership, public speaking, organisation, self-expression and initiative among students. It promotes intellectual and cultural development of its members and endeavours to give them training in the method and functioning of democratic institutions.

Academic Societies and Seminars

Students play a vital role in the corporate life of the college. All teaching departments have their academic societies for organising debates, seminars, symposia, talks and group discussions. Membership of such societies is confined only to teachers and students of the subjects concerned. However, inter-Disciplinary curricular activities are encouraged and each society holds seminars, symposia in which other Departments also participate.

Cultural Society

The Cultural Society promotes hidden talents in the field of Dance, Debate, Drama, Music, Poetry-recitation, etc. It organises a three day Inter-College cultural festival CULFEST during the IInd term. Cultural activities and competitions are held throughout the year and teams are prepared for participating in the Inter-College Cultural Competitions. Students are advised to fill in the required form available with the Convener of the Cultural Society.

Fee Concession Concession & Student aid Funds

Concession in respect of the payment of tuition fees are available to a maximum of 20% of the total tuition fee collected. Financial assistance in deserving cases may also be given for payment of University Examination Fees, purchase of books, clothing and medicines from the students Aid Fund of the College.

Travel Concessions

Students can avail of Railway & Air Lines concession to their home town during long vacations.

College Canteen

There is a canteen in the College campus where tea, coffee, cold drinks and light refreshments are provided on payment. No credit is permissible. If anybody ties to forcibly have drinks and eatables without making payment, the College will take strict disciplinary action against him/her.

Medical Facility
The College has medical room in the College with facilities required to meet any emergency.
