Motilal Nehru College has a very modern technological enabled barrier free inclusive and environment friendly infrastructure. The College has every facility that is required in every modern higher education institution.
The College has a rich collection of books, journals and periodicals at present count, the college has 1,07,586 volumes. The library subscribers to about 86 periodicals and magazines of scientific and general interest. The library also has more than 22206 books in the book bank/student aid fund section. The library has an up-to-date online catalogue (OPAC) of its holdings for all users, 21 computer stations with internet facility are also available for the library members. The library has two computer stations with specialized software for visually challenged students.
The canteen provides a variety of dishes at subsidized rates for students and staff members of the College. The canteen is located in a beautiful corner of the campus with both indoor and outdoor seating. The students can use the canteen facilities during college hours.
The College has a medical room adequately equipped to meet any medical emergencies in the College. A qualified and experienced medical doctor is available in the medical room from 11:00 A.M. to 01:00 P.M. on all working days. Students can avail of this facility free of charge.

The room is equipped with the latest audio-visual and multimedia equipment. The College has hosted numerous national and international conferences and seminars in this room.
The College maintains a fully air-conditioned Digital Resource Centre with 61 computer stations and is equipped with LAN as well as Wi-Fi internet connectivity with complete power backup. Each of the computers is loaded with all the software's required for the students' academic projects and activities. Every student of the College can freely access the facilities of the lab during college working hours. Besides the common access Digital Resource Centre, the College also has dedicated computer labs for departments of Computer Science, Mathematics, Commerce, Physics and Chemistry.
Motilal Nehru College is a fully Wi-Fi enabled campus with free internet access for every student of the College. Every student of the College is provided with a unique username and password enabling him/her to access internet connectivity on all supporting devices.
Motilal Nehru College has a vibrant campus life with year-round activities carried out by students under various societies and committees. The bodies organize symposia, seminars, shows, competitions and other functions and provide an opportunity to the students to showcase and develop their talents to their full potential. All committees work under the active supervision of teachers.
1. The Governing body grants scholarship to six students on the basis of excellence in the University Examinations.
2. A merit award will be given to a student of B.Com (Hons.) 1st year who scores at least 60% marks in aggregate in all papers and first position in the college. Other details of the award will be put up on the notice board after the re-opening of the college for the session 2011-2012.
The College Magazine "Navagat" publishes reviews of educational, cultural, social and sports activities of the College and articles by the students and staff. The magazine is edited by an Editorial Board.
Students' Union is the premier student body in the college. Its membership is compulsory for all students of the college. Its aims are to cultivate the quality of leadership, public speaking, organisation, self-expression and initiative among students. It promotes intellectual and cultural development of its members and endeavours to give them training in the method and functioning of democratic institutions.
Students play a vital role in the corporate life of the college. All teaching departments have their academic societies for organising debates, seminars, symposia, talks and group discussions. Membership of such societies is confined only to teachers and students of the subjects concerned. However, inter-Disciplinary curricular activities are encouraged and each society holds seminars, symposia in which other Departments also participate.
The Cultural Society promotes hidden talents in the field of Dance, Debate, Drama, Music, Poetry-recitation, etc. It organises a three day Inter-College cultural festival CULFEST during the IInd term. Cultural activities and competitions are held throughout the year and teams are prepared for participating in the Inter-College Cultural Competitions. Students are advised to fill in the required form available with the Convener of the Cultural Society.
The fee concession is given to the students of economically weaker section on the basis of income certificate of their parents. Financial assistance in deserving cases may also be given for payment of University Examination Fees, purchase of books, clothing and medicines from the students Aid Fund of the College.
Students can avail of Railway & Air Lines concession to their home town during long vacations.
