The Women Development Cell of Motilal Nehru College was formed in the year 2019 as a mechanism of change that helped build safe space within campus for women. It’s a platform where ideas are exchanged, discussed, opinions are formed and vocalized. It helps in building an inclusive space for all, irrespective of the gender you identify with.

E-cell conducts a myriad of activities throughout the year. Since the inception of E-Cell MLNC, has organized numerous seminars, workshops and guest lectures to create awareness about entrepreneurship. It acts as a guide for students with creative ideas and budding enterprises.

Some Events organized by us so far:

1.Self Defence Classes.

2.Workshop on legal rights of Women.

3.Women March on consent and ICC.

4.A session with the Trans queens of India.

5.A talk on intimate hygiene with Dr. Asawari.

Besides, we conduct session to discuss feminist literature or to discuss the taboo topic of periods, consent and so on.
