  Procedure For Admission
1.

The selected candidates on the basis of cut off are required to fill the admission for provides by the college. Admission shall be made purely on merit. Admission to a course shall be stopped once the seats are filled.

2.

In case an applicant wishes to apply for more than one course, he/she should use separate forms for all the courses.

3.

Admission shall be made purely on merit and admission to a course will be stopped once the seats are filled.

4.

No admission shall be entertained without a duly submitted preliminary application form. No such form will be accepted after the notified last date. A college registration number shall be assigned to each application form at the time of submission of the form. Applicants should make sure the receipt of each application form bears this number.

5.

Admissions to all courses are routed through various committees constituted for the purpose. Applicants and/or their guardians are requested not to approach the Principal in connection with admissions.

6.

Waiting lists for admission, if required, shall consist of only those applicants who have already applied before the last date of submission of application forms.

7.

No certificate or attested copies need to be submitted along with the 'A' form (except for application under the Sports and ECA category).

8.

In case an applicant is selected for admission, he/she is required to fill up 'B' form and submit the following original certificates along with self-attested copies at the time of admission. If any false attestation/falsified records are detected, the student will be debarred from attending any course in the University or its college(s) for next five years and in addition, a criminal case under relevant section of IPC (viz. 470, 471, 474 IPC etc) will be instituted against him, to subject him to the requisite criminal proceeding.

i. A Character certificate from the Head of the School or College last attended.

ii. A Certifcate issued by Secondary School/10th Class Board, showing Date of Birth.

iii. A Provisional Certifcate of the last public examination passed/Transfer Certifcate from the School or the College last attended.

iv. A detailed marks certifcate issued by the relevant Board or University showing markes obtained in each of the subjects at the last public examination.

v. One recent passport size photograph.

9.

Applicants to the College will have to deposit the prescribed dues within the period specified in the notice of admission. Failure to do so will automatically lead to cancellation of the offer of admission.

10.

(a) Candidates who are unable to comply with the requirement in respect of provisional certificate, certified list of marks etc. will not be considered for admission to the College.

(b) Rounding off of a fraction in the percentage of marks is not permissible for admission to any course of study in the College.

11.

The College does not admit/re-admit the following categories of students:

 

(a) Those who have failed in a University Examination.

 

(b) Those whose results were with-held on account of use of unfair means.

 

(c) Those who have either been rusticated by a College or debarred by a University from appearing in any examination.

12.

The College reserves the right to refuse or cancel admission of any student without assigning any reason.

13.

No person who has been convicted of any offence, involving moral turpitude, shall be admitted to a course of study or permitted to take any examination of the University until a period of two years has elapsed from the date of expiry of the sentence imposed on him/her.

14.

Applicants for admissions are advised not to make any payment to any person without obtaining a proper receipt. The admission Fee is to deposited either at the SBI counter in the college premises or at the Accounts Office of the college and a proper receipt be obtained.

15.

For admission to all B.Com (Pass), B.Com (Hons.), B.A. Programme & B.A. (Hons.) Courses, the aggregate percentage will be calculated on the basic of marks secured in one language and three best relevant elective subjects as per University Rules. However, the candidate must have passed the English Examination either at the X or the XII Board level.

16.

Special Note for Admission to B.A. (Hons.) English : Admission to B.A. (Hons.) English will be on the basis of interview. Only students falling in the cut-off-list will be called for interview. The interview will be held on all the days falling within the period specified in the Schedule for Admission.

17.

No individual intimation regarding admission will be sent. All notifications regarding admission to various courses will be put up on the College notice board.

18.

No Foreign Student is admitted to the college unless he/she produces a letter from the Foreign Students' Advisor, University of Delhi, regarding his/her eligibility and clearance for his/her holding a student visa. Admission of foreign student in the college will be finalized after consultation between the Foreign Students' Advisor of the college and admission in charge of the relevant subject on a first come first served basis.
