PHYSICS SOCIETY ANUSANDHAN
INTRODUCTION
“Physics is not a subject, but a view of universe. Science starts falling apart, when physics fails!”. The Physics Society of Motilal Nehru College, University of Delhi welcomes you all here. Known as ANUSANDHAN PHYSICS SOCIETY, it is one of the most scientifically involved societies in the college. Established back in 2006, our society has done a splendid job when it comes to serving the subject and has consistently tried providing exposure to the students. We have an annual fest named INERTIA and an annual magazine called QUANTA. The magazine attracts a major crowd as it contains many interesting articles, facts, informational topics, etc. These two are the limelight of our society.
COLLABORATIONS
As part of the learning process, the society has collaborated with bodies like Institute of Plasma Reasearch, Tezpur University, Radio Astronomy at Home (RAD@Home), and many other eminent scientist/researchers to conduct seminars and sessions on various topics. Back in February 2023, an educational trip was organised where students visited the Central laboratory - Bureau of Indian Standards where the scientist/staff demonstrated and explains various steps before a product gets the ISI mark.
